South Wales Whisky Interest Group promote responsible alcohol consumption at all events, with a strong emphasis on quality over quantity.

All samples are provided in resealable bottles which can be taken away if you don’t wish to finish all the samples at the event.

All events are strictly for over 18’s, and you will be asked to produce proof of age if required. Failure to produce proof of age will result in you being turned away from the event. Refunds will not be offered in these cases.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance to an event if we feel any participant is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Refunds will not be offered in these cases.

Violent or abusive behaviour towards SWWIG staff or other customers will not be tolerated. If you are abusive, you will be ejected from the event. No refunds will be offered in these cases and you will be banned from attending future events.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations can be made at any time by emailing southwaleswhisky@gmail.com

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the event takes place. Cancellations made after this date are subject to being charged in full.

Changes to Events

All events are subject to changes to the date, time and location. Where a change is made, full refunds will be offered to those who are no longer able to attend.

Sometimes it may be necessary to make a change to the whiskies advertised due to availability. If this is the case, whiskies will be substituted for another whisky of equivalent quality and value.

Photography at events

As organisers, we will regularly take photographs at events for promotional purposes. Such images may be used on social media sites or used in future promotional material.

If you would prefer not to be included in these photographs, please let us know at the start of the event.
